I'm quite new too and I don't think there is a manual. Have a look at the wiki (support/wiki). There's a "Getting started" section, that should help. Most of the software is kind of self explaining. But you have to keep in mind that the GUI is not Mac-like, as it was originally made for and by Windows-users. As a MBP user myself, I'm also and still struggeling with it.
