Ripping CD's

Is it possible to define the fields that you want YADB to look up?

You goto rip a cd and the only thing that's filled out is Album name, artist and track name. No composer, no date and to the best of my knowledge there is no Genre...

Just kinda curious as to why?
Is there a third party app that can look up tags any better? maybe after the fact?
