Analyze audio during ripping
« on: October 02, 2003, 02:33:25 pm »

I have a question about analyze audio during ripping: All my ripped CD's appear in the "need audio analysis" task although "analyze audio during ripping" was enabled. The reason is that every track gets a 0% value for peak level (all other values are correct). The funny thing is that these files are analyzed for the tool because I have to uncheck "skip analyzed files" to get the second run to work. After this, everything is alright. It is with mp3 vbr high in standard as with secure setting. Also it is with both drives. I didn't find any posts with a similar problem so I wonder if I missed a setting or have a hardware problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I did some tests on this:
Took a new CD which I never used in MC before to avoid that old libary values mess the result.
First on my main machine with Drive E:   Same result, peak level is 0% (Secure Setting)

Please try the latest build (9.1.269) and see if the problem is fixed. Let me know.
