Importing PDFs and other assets into Mac version of JRiver
« on: March 13, 2015, 05:09:42 am »

Are there plans to introduce the facility to import PDFs of album booklets so they can be viewed on JRemote, as is already possible on the Windows version?

Thanks

That feature already exists.

I'm trying to remember how to set it up. I did it when first announced. Right now I have a selection on the left had side column under "Audio" for "Documents" and with that is "Dates", "Files" and "Keywords". Under "Files is a list of all my PDF files which are the CD booklets but I suppose could be anything. When using JRemote there is a selection for Asset that then displays the booklet and you can scroll though the pages. I think all I did is drag and drop the PDF files into the same folder as the associated album and I seem to recall within JRiver options having checked a box for Data possibly under Auto,Import but I don't see it now. If you are using it on Windows I would think the set up on Mac the same or maybe search the JRiver Wiki.

Thank you mwheelerk. :) You are right; the option is in "Import a single folder," not in "Auto Import"
