MCWS specific information
« on: March 14, 2015, 07:59:18 am »

Just a quick question :

Is there a MCWS command which would return the values displayed by JRiver Audio Path (ie Input, changes and output) ?

Would be great

Next build:
NEW: Added MCWS/v1/Playback/AudioPath to get the audio path information during playback.

Just tried the new build....works perfectly. Again thanks....BUT
is there a way to get the file format (input and/or output). The fact that the connection is direct is certainly nice to know but what is really interesting would be the incoming file format (for ex. 48kHz 32bit 6ch from source format dts-hd). I know I can get it through the MCWS info command which works for audio but I couldnt find a way to report playing audio file format of video (DVD and Bluray) through MCWS.
And If it should be prioritized then the input file format would be for me more interesting than the output.

You can get a lot of information about the source file from MCWS/v1/Playback/Info
This includes the incoming audio details, as well as which file is playing, which you could cross-reference for all other file details.

reported through mcws
The info command get' the info out of the library but fails to identify the actual playing stream in a bd which i only
Can see on the audio path under input
