I have 50 sub directories of JPGs under C:\media\Pics\... but when i import them into MC9.0 it misses 12 of the sud directory names from the View/Album list and truncates one directory name from 6 letters to five letters!

It does import all of the pics within the sub directory structure but it will not show them under the View/Albums.

I renamed all directories to remove any spaces and any other non standard characters in the directory names but no matter what i do it still refuses to imort them.

Any ideas.

maybe mc9 thinks there is something wrong with them?

maybe there is something in the file name that keeps mc9 from importing them?

My error, all is well.  I hadn't realised that these 12 sub directories wern't included on and original tag update.  I selected all of these files in the sub dirs and updated the Album field from the directory name and all was ok again.
