Problem with purchasing upgrade

Apologies if this is not the place for this query.  I am trying to upgrade from MC17 to 20 and the license which I copy from the email from JRiver does not work.  It says it is not recognised?  As well as cutting and pasting I have tried entering again by hand -I have done all of the obvious stuff like checked for o & 0 etc.  Thanks in advance for help.

Try installing MC20 and restoring your license.  Then purchase.
