Track Listing
« on: March 28, 2015, 07:52:33 pm »

Can't find any other topics for my particular issues, apologies if one does exist.
I have quite a lot of albums on my Pono in which the track listing goes something like this:
(Track number) 1, 11, 12, 2, 21, 22, 23, 3,4,5,6,7 etc....
Is anyone else having this problem and if so can you recommend a 'fix' other than re-ripping all of those albums.
Many thanks
Dave

I'm not sure whether the device uses the tag called "track", but check that tag in your files.

If it's missing, there is a "fill tracks from list order" tool.

Thanks Jim. Are you saying there's a 'fill tracks from list order' tool on the Pono? I've been manually loading my sd card (on iMac). I've found loading via Pono World 20 to be quite cumbersome.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a novice at this but I'm not sure even where 'tags' are.
cheers

The tool is in PMW, but the first thing to do is determine if the files have the track tag filled or if they are empty.

Thanks Jim I was able to bulk tag all of my albums using the 'fill tracks from list order', fantastic!
Hope this can assist others with their tagging as well.
Appreciate your help Jim
cheers
