Restoring License from Internet
« on: October 02, 2003, 08:49:54 pm »

OK, after I reinstalled MC9.1 (after not having any MC app for a while), I figured I'd restore my license.

I went to the restore web site, entered my e-mail address, and 3 hours later, I still have not received the e-mail.  The registered address is "psychshack AT ml1.net".

I'd greatly appreciate any help.  Thanks!

Marko's guess is a good one.

You don't need the e-mail.  The install key gets installed automatically when you visit the restore page (if you use IE).

You can also right click on the license at the restore page and save it to disk.

it is unclear to what he was trying but

he may have not had his license # and wanted the system to send it to him so he can then restore.

one other thing that may be wrong is he entered the wrong e-mail address, or when he orginaly entered it it was wrong.

I entered the right e-mail address because first I entered the wrong one and it told me it couldn't find it, but then when I tried the other one it said "E-mail sent."  Also, I do not have my #, so I cannot just enter it, and I don't have a spam filter that would reject messages.

That's what I figured, but I already tried three times yesterday.  I don't want to use up all my restores when it's not even working....

Can I please get a response from JimH or someone else who can see what's going on?  I really would like to have it registered, considering I paid for it (for v.9) back in the day....  Thanks!
