You really want to wait a couple more months for this to happen? Voluntarily? :)
For all I care, we could move the AMD64 build to jessie exclusively once jessie is out (because AMD64 has the most issues with dependencies), and maybe keep the 32-bit on wheezy, or package both for 32-bit, if thats not too much troubles code/build-system wise?

I like that idea Hendrik. It doesn't add complexity and still allows for backwards compatibility.
