The install of 20.0.110 for Debian (Jessie) AMD64 went very smoothly and it runs well, but I am having a problem getting the files to be played at the same volume. I've worked through the library tools, DSP studio, options, etc. Suggestions, please.
Thanks,
tlcmd

JimH:
You could read about Audio Leveling on our wiki.  The files must be analyzed first.

Assistance, please.
Can I now record with this version of Media Centre through my sound card (from my preamplifier. as I have with other versions of MC?
I have a fair number of vinyl records which I wish to transfer to my computer.

If not, can anyone suggest a good program to do this?

Thank you,
tlcmd

No, that function is not supported in Linux.

Audacity is a free and feature rich way to record on linux.

Mike Noe:
Audacity is a great option, it is what I have been using for years for my vinyl "rips".  There are many tools built-in to help clean up your sources as well (pops, etc.)
