Yes.
The larger settings file has a lot of nulls in it following one of the custom view fields.
This seems like a bug but I don't think it's affecting the reading of the mini-view settings.

I'm in the middle of making a change to the redraw code. When the next build is posted it will be interesting to see if it solves the issue for you.
