Where To install DLNA (Server) for Gizmo
« on: April 18, 2015, 03:51:05 pm »

I finally setup by Gizmo (old version) to work with my Android tablet (Galaxy S) works great.  Really like it.

However, i discovered through reading threads and setup that MC has to always be open.

MC is installed on my Laptop.  I want to be able to turn my laptop off and tuck it away, but still be able to use MC on my tablet.
Did i set this up incorrectly.

New at this remote, can I install the DLNA / Server on my NAS and be able to use the Gizmo on my tablet?

Last, what's the difference between the old Gizmo and the new Gizmo on Galaxy Store?  Does it offer different featuring or better cnnection.

Again, i want to turn my laptop off and run the Gizmo from my Tablet.  Do i need to install MC 20 somewhere else.

Thanks

I don't know what you mean by "old version".  There should be just one Gizmo on the Play Store.

It won't work without a source of music (MC).  It isn't just a music player.

You can tell MC to run Media Server on Windows start.  It's in the startup options.
