« on: April 21, 2015, 04:56:42 pm »

Hi to all,

Is it possible to edit the movie and TV info manually,

Sometimes an obscure movie fails  to get movie /TV info

and  it would be useful to be able to edit this manually,

I tried to copy and paste into the Info window although this

did not work.Where is this info stored is it on an XML that

can be edited. Can anyone help,I would very much like to

add my own info/so when I scroll over an image of a movie

or TV show it is available in the popup

Thanks in Advance

Have you looked in Standard View at Video>Files and looked a the tags associated with each movie/tv-show? In this view you can add tags/fields to edit or view by right clicking on the column header and selecting any of the available fields.
Is there something else you want to edit that is not in one of the tags?

Yes.  You need to open the Tag Action Window.

Hi,Thank you for your reply

Yes I want to edit the field that appears when you mouse over the cover art of a movie in the standard view/the info that is obtained when

you select get "Movie and TV info",I would like to add too or edit this /I understand the tagging system.

And I do not see this option in the tags

If you use the Tag editor found under the "Action Window" (lower left corner) be sure to select "show all Tags" from the menu (I think the default is set to only show tags that have data in them).

If you use the Video>Files view, you need to right click on the column header to add additional tags/fields that you may want to see, that are not shown in the default view.

Thank you, seems like I did not understand the tagging as good as I thought, yourself and glynor  were absolutely correct

it was in the tagging. What I was looking for was Description, when I expanded to show all tags/I saw the description tag,

And added that, to my default tags.

So Thanks again

I just noticed something else, when I mouse over the cover art of a movie I get the info

When I add the description tag to a cd and add info, and mouse over the cover art I do not see the info.

Is this a tag to make the pop up happen on a CD, or is it another type of setting

Thank you / meanwhile I will keep looking for an answer why this is not happening
