Purchasing MC9.1 from Europe
« on: October 01, 2003, 01:40:36 am »

After a few months' concentrating on my job, I stopped by to see where MC9 had gone. 9.1.243 is working nicely for me. I showed it to a friend from the Netherlands when he was here a few weeks ago. He downloaded it, and after talking him through the learning cycle he decided to buy it.

He's trying to purchase from within MC9.1 unsuccessfully. I'm not in Holland now and can't see what he is seeing... and I can't follow his steps because I own MC9 and the "Buy..." option is not available to me.

The problem: he enters his address information and presses the "Next" (or Accept, etc.) button. He is returned to the address entry screen and told there is an error, but he doesn't see any indication of what field is in error.

Many things are different in NL... addresses, phone numbers, zip codes... can anyone give me an idea of how to find the problem so he can buy it?

A side-note. I've spent about 6 hours on the phone with him to help him learn the product. It does a LOT... so much it can intimidate a new user. You might find it interesting to watch a new user as they try to learn MC, as the folks on this list are quite experienced.

Thank you.

Perhaps the server was down when he tried it earlier, as it just worked when he tried it now.
