Media Server Crashes continuously
« on: May 10, 2015, 09:17:25 am »

As of a few weeks ago the server has become unstable.  MC doesn't necessarily crash, though on occasion it does, but the server function crashes multiple times a day.   I have the latest build and nothing else has changed on my system.  I did recently switch antivirus from MSE to Bitdefender but the problem was occurring before that switch and going back has made no difference.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled MC to no avail.  Currently running 19.0.163.

According to Soluto MC has crashed 10 times in the last 2 weeks (that doesn't count Server crashes) and the cause is "access violation (e06d7363)"

Antivirus programs can often cause this kind of problem.  Uninstalling is the only way to be sure.

What else changed when it began happening?

I uninstalled bit defender, will see if that helps.  Nothing else that I can think of changed though I have had other network related problems, specifically the computer in my bedroom keeps dropping it's connection. I don't know if that's related, but I've always had some problems with that wifi connection.
