Problems updating from 74 version

I downloaded the newest 94 Version and run the update (the dmg file). First I got a message "There was a problem installing an update" and after starting up the Media Center I found the Microsoft logo on the about screen?

You cannot "run the update".

To install a new build of MC on Mac, you drag the Media Center app icon into your Applications folder and replace the existing app. This is the usual method for installing applications on Macs.  See here:

MC's works and looks basically identical to Chrome in that example.
