downsampling
« on: May 20, 2015, 09:12:24 am »

I have some hi res downloads and for some reason mc20 is downsampling them, this wasn't happening prior to installing 20. Dac handles the higher samples but 96 is  output at 48  etc . Any ideas as it worked perfectly with mc 18 .
Many thanks Chris

Hi Chris

version 18 and 20 have some configuration differences. All zones have their own individual audio settings. I'd first check for each playback zone in DSP Studio=>check Output Format and for each make sure there is "no change" indicated (you could also force upsampling here too). IMO, I believe it always better to check the Output Format option, regardless if you have no other DSPs set up.
