JRemote following a Yosemite Re-Install
« on: May 22, 2015, 11:15:31 am »

Due to stability I just finished a clean re-install of Yosemite 10.3. JR reinstall and boot went well. However, Remote will not open MC on my IPad. I have my Mini server self assign an IP address and use this with access key to connect to MC via local WiFi. This has always worked. Not working now.

Did the access key on your computer change?  You may want to reset it, since a large amount of your setup has changed.

Correct the Key resets and all is fine. Thanks Glynor, you were correct about the OS symptoms as well. The incremental OS builds up thru Yosemite finally becomes problematic. A complete wipe and reinstall from a jump drive was well worth the effort. For those looking in here, this exercise makes the OS and MC speed up to another gear!
