Please make sure you're using the latest build, which is found here: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=97991.0

When you do a restore you should receive a file that ends in .MJR.  This is the license file.  Try running that file from Finder.  If it chooses JRiver to run the file, it probably won't do anything (in my experience).  Instead, run it from the Finder and choose "Package Installer".  That should install the license properly.

Let us know how it works out for you.

I have tried everything from using package installer to trying a old version ( mac 19 ) and still no luck. I am desperate as I have folks coming over tomorrow to hear my new system. I cant understand why JRiver does not have better tec support. Not sure I would I would have purchased it or would recommend if I would have known. I have purchased multiple Flac files that i now can not play. Does anyone have any other suggestions ?

What version of JRiver Media Center are you running?  We are looking for a complete version number, so something like 20.1.110 .

What happens when you run the .MJR file?  License files have to be used within a certain time frame.  Did you get this license restore emailed to you recently?  Or has it been a few weeks?

I'm no expert; just trying to help you out.
