tl;dr - Does jrmc keep images (cached locally, whether visible or hidden) for tv show cover art (series/season box art) when connecting to a remote library? If so, where?
I am currently having an issue with a few of my tv shows not showing cover art for the series and seasons. My current setup: running jrmc on home server using media server to connect via jrmc on clients. Viewing tv series on the server using primary library and all series and seasons have cover art. However, when i connect to this same library from my client, the application running on the client will not see the coverart for three particular tv series and their seasons.
Things tried so far:
I have connected to the library using the access key as well as using the url.
I have tried looking for any cached thumbnails that might be causing a conflict, but havent had any luck. (Maybe not looking in the right spot?)
I have tried rebuilding thumbs.
I have tried deleting cover art and letting jrmc reacquire it off the web.
I have tried removing the files from the media library and rescan them in.
I have tried getting cover art from the internet via the context menu (right click show, select cover art item, then get from internet option). Also note that when i do try to 'get from internet' the window pops up and does its search, finds cover art. I try to save - no luck again. also, jrmc reports that there is cover art in my library for these shows already but it still will not display.
All these steps have been tried on the jrmc application running at both the server side and the client side.
I cannot think of anything else to try except for a complete uninstall/reinstall of jrmc on the client, which i prefer not to do, but will if necessary. Also worth noting that i have used jrmc for quite a while; and when upgrading and uninstalling the old version, i always choose to keep user data files (not sure exact wording, it's a selectable option when uninstalling). while i see no reason why this would affect these files since i am acquiring the library from the server - who knows; just thought i would mention it in case.
Any recommendations/solution? I cannot think of what else to do from here.
One final note...I just opened jrmc on another client and the cover art is showing without issue. SO - it must be on the client side. I suspect there are cached images that are corrupt somewhere, but do not know where they are located.
