running two instances of mc and uac
« on: July 08, 2015, 06:31:12 am »

besides my mc 20 ive been running mc 19 too. both have their own library's. i like this setup, but there is one problem. when i have used one, and i switch to the other, i always get an UAC message. i know i can turn that of for my whole machine, but i prefer not too :) .
is there a way to set something somewhere, so i get rid of the uac messages when opening one of the mc versions.
and im not sure why this happens, has this something to do with certificates?

thanks
 :)

Unfortunately this cannot be helped. When you run different versions of MC, they check if their version of some common components are setup in the system properly, and if thats not the case, they will try to set them up.
If you alternate between MC19 and MC20, they'll overwrite these components in the system all the time, and need to set them up again.
