As posted in the .255 and .256 threads:
- In using the Hard Disk Location view scheme with TiVo, the <this folder> returns "This folder does not contain any playable music", when in fact there are .mp3s in that folder.
Most of my files are organized by artist/album. Occasionally, there are files (mp3s) in the artist directory in addition to some album subdirectories. When viewing it via the Hard Disk scheme in TiVo, the <this folder> comes up at the artist level along with the album subfolders, but when I click into <this folder> I get the error message above.
Example directory structure:
s:\music\enya\remix.mp3
s:\music\enya\remix2.mp3
s:\music\enya\album1\track1.mp3
s:\music\enya\album1\track2.mp3
...
s:\music\enya\album2\track1.mp3
s:\music\enya\album2\track2.mp3
...
When I view s:\music\enya on TiVo, this comes up:
<this folder>
Album1
Album2
If I go into Album1 or Album2, it shows all of the subfiles as expected.
If I choose <this folder>, instead of showing the tracks: remix
remix2
I get "This folder does not contain any playable music".
It seems to occur when a folder has both files in it and subfolders with tracks.
