Theatre View Launch External Program
« on: August 17, 2015, 02:44:56 am »

I have added a new menu item in Theatre view and configured to run the PowerDVD executable for playing BluRays, I have tried checking and unchecking ide MC but having the same issue.
I run MC in Theatre view, using my Harmony remote click the button to launch PowerDVD, everything works but focus is not set, PowerDVD is the top most window and showing full screen but as I click direction arrows on my remote it is actually navigating in MC behind the scenes. If I get my mouse and select the PowerDVD window it works fine.
I am running latest version 20 build of MC on Windows 10.
Can anyone assist.

I got the script working and PowerDVD opens automatically when inserting a BluRay.
It still behaves the same where the PowerDVD Window is on the top but focus is still on MC, ie I click buttons on my remote and it is changing menu items in MC in the background.

This maybe a windows 10 issue but I got this working by using the script mentioned above but modifying the script to include the following command

WinActivate, %P_WinName%

This forces the PowerDVD window to become active.
