Uninstalling MC20 (Linux) from LMDE2
« on: August 07, 2015, 05:13:05 pm »

I need to uninstall MC20 (linuc) from my Linux distro (LMDE2(Betsy).

How do I do it. The uninstall doesn't work. I suspect I need to enter a command into the terminal. I plan to reinstall it since mine is apparently screwed up.

Thanks,

Try this in a Terminal;

Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get remove mediacenter20
If you're looking to do a clean install (no library or settings retained) you'll likely need to delete the hidden .jriver folder in your Home folder. In which case I'd advise making a library backup first, then using this in the Terminal;

Code: [Select]
sudo rm -rf ~/.jriver
