Auto rip and auto eject not working Mac Mini
« on: August 10, 2015, 03:38:10 pm »

I have not be able to get auto rip or auto eject to work. I have double checked the settings in Tools>Options>CD>Auto-Rip CD

Additionally, Tools>Options>CD>Rip Complete Options>Eject CD after ripping does not work. It is an external USB CD drive. Is there some other way to automate this? I have a lot of CDs!

Thanks.

OSX has a System Preference for how to handle CDs, DVDs, etc, when you insert them into the drive.  It's possible that the System Preference is interfering with MC's ability to capture the CD insertion.

Go to System Preferences (on your dock) and click on CDs & DVDs.  It should have pull down listings for each type of disk.  You're looking for what it will do for "music CD".  I would set it to Ignore and try MC again.

I don't use MC to rip CDs; these are just some ideas for you.
