Microsoft and WMP9 are making lots of industry partners on this very well... While the DVD consortium bicker about copy protection and still seem to desire to use MPEG2 we have people like Joe Kane coming out and loudly singing WMP9's praises as a delivery medium and clearly demonstrating that WMP9 is superior to DVHS even at 8 - 9 Mbit rates (red laser DVD)...
Add in the fact that Microsoft have been demonstrating WMP9 as an D-Cinema delivery platform

BTW at those relativly low resolutions I would take a higher contrast Plasma over a 1024x1024 Plasma...
