HTML generation suggestion
« on: September 16, 2003, 10:06:57 am »

Here's another suggestion for a new MC feature: the ability to generate simple HTML pages based on user defined groups, whether they are playlists or view schemes.  Since the database fields already are available in XML, porting it to HTML should quite simple.  I would LOVE to be able to import photos into MC, edit all my DB filelds, and then create HTML pages based on various criteria at the press of a button!  Sounds very, very cool to me!

Yogi: You might have tried this, but...

You can sort of do this right now in MC9.1, but its probably not as full-featured as you might like.

You can send library items as HTML to a website. Select some images, right click and choose send to/Email Web/Web or FTP Server.

You can also export view schemes/playlists to HTML. Select one and choose File/Export Playlist.
