EPG NOT LOADING

I am trying JRiver MC20 for the first time and I've scanned in the channels without any problem but the EPG is not loading in .
I'm only setting this up to record the OTA digital terrestrial local broadcast for now.
I used the defaults so far but I'm reading many posts about using different programming guides.
Is this something I should look into or should I try the MC21 first? Or am I just an ignorant fool who isn't checking the right box somewhere in the setup?
Any help would be appreciated.

Please try MC21.  The EPG data provider for MC20 discontinued.

In MC21, you'll want to use mc2xml.
