JRMC21 to support dual monitors?
« on: August 31, 2015, 02:22:00 am »

Probably better to ask here, does jrmc21 support 2 monitors better than jrmc20?

My issues:

Windows 10 has done away with Ctrl + Win + X and they have replaced it with Ctrl + Shft + Arrow Key but it does not jump MC like the old shortcut did.

Here are some related display problems with MC using 2 displays:

1. Menus will open on opposite display after application has been moved to 2nd display.
2. VERY little real estate to 'grab' with mouse to manually move MC application (especially if you load your top toolbar with menu options/shortcuts).
3. MC is the one app on my machine that does not respond to Windows shortcuts.

Display Fusion is a free? app I may look at using. Would love native support though.

Luckily, the crash when closing Detached Display with double-click was resolved for me moving to Win10.

I don't believe MC has a general problem with dual displays.  It's developed on dual displays.

The above 3 problems I noted do cause me a lot of walking between rooms even though I have JRemote, trackpads, and wireless mice.

I guess I could run two instances. I usually leave Detached Display up to the large 2nd display, but sometimes I like to have Cover View to browse albums on the really big screen.

Right now I would need Display Fusion to swap MC between monitors.
