Next build:
NEW: Added the output format "Encode as 4xDSD in DoP format" for 4x DoP delivery.

It's in the build available now.  Feedback appreciated because we don't have a 4x DoP device, so we just had to implement it and hope it was done right.

Might take a bit for myself since I have to factory upgrade my DAC, but I will ping other Vega users to try it and post here.

Matt I see there is DoP DSD256 in the Dec 10th build? How is that different from what was implemented back in Sep? Was it just ASIO DSD256 then?

FYI - There is a new firmware for iFi micro iDSD for Windows, and DoP256 is working well in MC.

I'll test my Vega when it gets back with DSD256, but so far so good.

I may try the iDSD using SPDIF via ASIO for 8x DSD and see how it performs.

You guys need to add an option to control the conversion if the DAC support DSD 64 as an only option

It's there, unless I misunderstand your point.

5 months ago I sent in my Vega for the DSD256 upgrade. There is STILL no driver that works with JRiver. Auralic tech support keeps lecturing me on the nuances of software players, but I'm confused because imo MC should work fine unless there is something they are doing radically different with this native DSD playback.

I can use MC to play DSD256 and 512 native over USB to my iFi DAC.....I am using the correct settings  (and trying every possible setting) for native DSD over USB....The Vega times out with an error.

Any thoughts?

What happens if you check DSD bitstream in DoP format, then enable DSD bitstreaming? Does it work then?

No luck.

I thought it had to be native. Anyway, it results in the same pulsing where the DAC flashes DSD256 and then MC times out...

Auralic is having trouble with UPnP lately:
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=102338.msg721992#msg721992

but I don't think you're using UPnP...

The only way we could help would be to borrow the equipment for a couple weeks.

Do other formats play with those settings?

I notice a 2.0 in the description of the driver.  Is that for USB 2.0?  Is it plugged into a USB 2.0 port on your computer?
