MC20 reverts to blank on startup and won't restore

Whenever I close MC20 and start it back up it reverts to an empty library. If I import files, then backup that library, and use that I also get an empty library.

On an attempt to restore from what I saved, Content Advisor pops up twice asking for a password. Whether I give it one or not, I still do not get a proper restore.

Next step?

Maybe you're running the install file instead of the program.

Content Advisor isn't part of MC and could be causing a problem.

Updating to MC21 solved the issue. It was unrelated to Content Advisor, as that remains an annoyance at startup of MC20 or MC21.

That's likely to be a Content Advisor problem.  Did you contact the publisher?

Content Advisor is part of IE.  The password is something you set that will prompt you whenever you open something downloaded from the Internet.

It's Microsoft's "keep the kids safe" tool.
