Title: can no longer view television
Post by: ahskippy on November 14, 2021, 06:35:01 pm: I just noticed that my scheduled recordings are not recording and when I try to view live tv, I get this error "Failed to create JRiver Time-shifting writer Filter Unspecified error". Last successful recording was October 30th.

Cleaned time shifting folders and rebooted to no avail. Recording drive has over 4TB of space available.

All other Media Center functions work well.

Media Center version 28.0.80 64bit

Any help would be appreciated.

Indeed. This device has been around for a long time.

Please try re-installing MC28. If that does not help, please provide a log file logging the failure of either live viewing or recording or both.
