can no longer view television

I just noticed that my scheduled recordings are not recording and when I try to view live tv, I get this error "Failed to create JRiver Time-shifting writer Filter   Unspecified error".  Last successful recording was October 30th.

Cleaned time shifting folders and rebooted to no avail.  Recording drive has over 4TB of space available.

All other Media Center functions work well.

Media Center version 28.0.80 64bit

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you running any other TV applications?

No other TV applications.  I have successfully re-scanned Television channels Media Center.

I have the Dvico Fusion HDTV 7 Dual tuner.  I have been using this with Media Center from version 18

Indeed.  This device has been around for a long time.

Please try re-installing MC28.  If that does not help, please provide a log file logging the failure of either live viewing or recording or both.

Whatever the problem was, re-installing has cleared it up.
