You can use your Registration Code from any previous version of JRiver Media Center. You can retrieve your Registration Code from our server (see below).
INSTRUCTIONS
Are you planning to use more than one OS?
If so, you need a Master License, which works with Windows, Mac, and Linux. You can purchase from the Help menu of a current version or you can go here:

Or do you only need Windows or only Mac or only Linux?
Then you can get the new license here:

PROBLEMS?
Is your old license not accepted when you upgrade?
Make sure you're on the right upgrade page.
Use copy and paste with the license. 0 (zero) and O (letter) look alike. So do 1 (number one) and l or I (letters).
Don't have your license? Visit the Restore Page (https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi) and use option #2 to email yourself your license(s).

Restoring a backup (https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Library_Backup) of your library. MC makes them automatically. You can find them by using your OS file browser to search for zip files. MC33 can restore a backup from MC20 and above. MC can also restore your settings if you choose.

I paid for and received my registration code for MC34 And I thought it would install in MC32 awaiting MC34 (in the way your updates used to work) but it won't. Did you change your upgrade process or am I all wet?

You have to use it in the latest MC33, which is 33.0.71.
It won't work in MC32.

Hi Jim, I've paid for the upgrade using an old registration by mistake. Paypal have taken the money, however I'm not receiving an upgrade license I am just getting this message.
"You must first install the correct version of JRiver Media Center, and then restore your license.

I think I used the JRMC16 registration code for the up grade when I'm currently using JRMC31.
What do I have to do to get the license, do I have to restore JRMC16 or go back and re-enter my JRMC31 registration code? Or is there some other way?

Hi there, I have the same issue as a few others have noted, in that I just paid to upgrade my master license to version 33 only a month ago not thinking it was going to be soon time for the 34 upgrade. I'm always for keeping current, but I don't see anything about what version 34 gets us. Are there new features? Bug fixes? Without this information, I cannot make a buying decision

It will work with any old version. Just follow the instructions in the first post.

I've been attempting to take advantage of the early order upgrade pricing most of today, but the system which the upgrade links point to, www.jriver.com, does not appear to be reachable. Is this a known issue?

The servers are in the process of moving and a lot of ISP's DNS resolvers are slow to update to the changes. Try changing your system's DNS to another like Google DNS and try again.

I'm responsible for all of the name servers I can use and flushing the cache didn't help. I think the issue was the stupid macOS resolver not honoring the TTL coming back on lookup results. Oh well, a reboot fixed that problem.

I note that the expected arrival date for 34 has been "a few weeks" for more than a few weeks now: well over a month, in fact. Any idea when it will be ready? I'm not thrilled about the interest-free loan I've had to make to you in order to get the "discount" pre-order price.

We're not exactly living it up on the interest.
Usually, we finish up the early-bird offer, then release a build of the new version.
We're on build 14 now.

You need to install either MC34 or MC33.0.72, then use your MC34 license. I've re-sent your licenses.
