Title: Stop Smartlists from Expanding Links
Post by: AudibleImagery on February 21, 2025, 06:10:31 pm
How do I stop smartlists from expanding links? If this isn't possible, I'd like to submit a feature request for this option.

It's possible, assuming this area of MC is the same on Mac as it is on Windows.

Simply remove the selection from the "Expand Links" checkbox in the smartlist header (snap-033 below)

If you're not seeing any of that, look over on the right, below the search box, click on those downwards facing arrows (snap-034 below) to expand the header.

If the Mac version differs from Windows here, you'll need to hang on a little longer for a Mac Pro to chime in with better help :)

I'm aware of the "Expand Links" checkbox, but when I uncheck it, it resets every time I close and reopen MC.

Indeed it is. I'm seeing the same thing here. I do not think that's meant to happen. We shall see...

It's not saved today. I can put it on the list to save in the future though. Thanks.
