Title: Crash
Post by: max4334 on June 25, 2012, 12:44:30 pm: So, I have the latest version of mc 17 installed. Windows 7, 64 bit. No matter what song i play, it crashes mid song. Now, when I stream via dlna to my directv box, no crash at all. So either something is wrong with play back, or the local library.

Version number.

How you start playback.

Try setting Audio to DirectSound.

But could you please send me a copy? It's causing the crash, but I'd like the file to fix future crashes.

You can edit the folder in Tools/Import/Auto import and uncheck the .au file type so they aren't imported.

Post by: Matt on June 26, 2012, 12:50:40 pm: Auto-import analyzes audio for unanalyzed audio files. That AU file is crashing during decoding. I'm still looking into fixing that.

In the meantime, as Jim mentioned, you can remove the AU files from your library to work around the problem or disable audio analysis in Auto-Import.
