Sequence Change

Hi everyone.

Got a quick question.  How do I change the sequence of a song in a playlist?

I have a song and I want to move its position in a playlist.

How is that done?

Drag and drop will work.

Drag and drop doesn't work.

It appears to be stuck in the position once the file is added to the playlist.

A regular playlist allows you to move songs around by dragging them.  BUT, you can LOCK a playlist, so songs can't move.  Click on the header of the playlist, next to the down arrow and you'll get a menu.  On that menu you should see an item that says Lock or Unlock.  If it says unlock, unlock it.

Now, if you're using a SmartList, you can't re-order those manually.  The rules determine the contents and the ordering.  But it sounds like you're using a regular playlist, so that's probably not it.

I can not drag files in a regular playlist.  The lock and unlock feature doesn't seem to work.  I cannot drag when the list is unlocked.

It's possible that you have a sort turn on.  Click on the header, go to sort and see what it says.  If it says anything other than "default", change it to default.  Maybe that will help.
