Copying CD and HiRes music files to ID
« on: December 29, 2015, 09:07:40 am »

Is it possible to easily copy an entire library from a NAS drive to an ID device, assuming enough built-in storage in the ID?  How is it done?

Is the only difference among ID devices the volume of built-n storage... or are there other advantages in the more expensive models?

Thanks.

The only difference is the storage capacity.

There is a little information on transferring files in this wiki topic:

I also wish to know how to copy my music files from an external USB drive to Id itself, for I am using a 2TB version, I had lots of difficulties in this now.

The URL you mentioned above didn't give any valuable and useful information , even yourself know that so you were actually not answering.

You have to get Windows to see both devices.  The Id supports SMB (Samba) so it will show up as a drive in Windows networking.

I know there are other ways, but that is how I would try it.
