I get a failure when I use the Help Update pulldown. Is this a known issue or is it something new or local to me?

Also you can update manually using the release topic on the top of this forum section, e.g.
https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,118022.0.html
But yeah, I think Jim's on the right track here, antivirus is the most likely culprit.
