Streaming and JRiver Remote
« on: August 04, 2019, 10:14:59 am »

Apologies, if this topic is redundant.  Resolve the streaming section to work effortlessly with JRiver Remote, or I am done with JRiver.  Too bad, too as JRiver has been largely a joy to use in the past.

It's hard to know what you mean.  Can you be more precise?

Sorry about that... what I meant was I could not access any of the radio streams like RP, using a tablet, just the media player for albums.

iOS?  Or Android?

If you're trying to play on the phone, Panel works with Radio JRiver.

Oh?  Apologies once more for wasting your time, but one last request and observation.  Where do I find this info?  Android interface, ain't.  Would hope more would be forthcoming.  Thank you for your assist in this matter, I appreciate it.

Sorry about all of this, have just discovered, bought and am very pleased with a real Android build. This ex-creative director will overlook the girly palette for now... kudos, Jim and team. It woiks!

There's a new JRemote update for Android being worked on right now (assuming you were talking about JRemote) and I wouldn't be surprised if streaming is added to it at some point. It's about to hit beta, as far as I know.

There are quite a few girls in the world.

You can change the theme to dark in MC's settings if black is more manly.

I use dark theme not because it’s manly but it saves battery 😆

I would simply prefer, tasteful, gender neutral, thank you.  The girly part was just poor humor on my part, but as a retired graphic designer & creative director, I still find the iteration- mediocre.
