« on: June 25, 2020, 12:15:51 am »

Hi there, I was wondering how can avoid buffering when I play a very large MQA file?

MC doesn't decode MQA, so you must be bitstreaming to a device that does.  Don't use Memory Playback.

As long as you're not using DSP whatsoever and volume is set to 100%, MQA files should be passed through to the DAC to decode.

Otherwise, JRiver doesn't support MQA officially (and like Jim said it doesn't decode it either) and they don't plan on supporting it. Unofficially you can pass it through but your mileage may vary.
