Enable DSP Studio for zone other than Player
« on: August 16, 2020, 04:15:02 am »

I'm still new to MC...

This my current set-up:MC version: 26.0.103 (64-bit)
OS and Version: Microsoft Windows 10 Home, 64bit Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363
JRMark score: 5076
Environment: Laptop ZenBook Pro 15 UX550GDX_UX580GD 64bit with MC installed. Playing (for the moment) music (flac) from cloud storage wirelessly over home network to OPPO BDP105D which itself is connected (analogue) to Thule amplifier.

My issue: How to enable DSP Studio with my setup.I've tried to find something relevant to my issue in this forum, but didn't find the answer to my problem (perhaps my search terms were inadequate).

My OPPO is visible under Playing Now and I can play my music through it.

With the OPPO selected under Playing Now I tried Player -> DSP Studio and got this: "DSP Studio is only available for local zones".

How do I get access to DSP Studio with my current set-up? Or is that impossible?
Any help that I can get would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Try a Google search for JRiver DSP Studio  and DSP  over DLNA.  You should find plenty of information, including our wiki.
