Importing ISO files over +/- 62 GB
« on: November 15, 2020, 04:14:08 pm »

Forgive me if this has been mentioned elsewhere but it seems my installation of JRiver does not import large ISO files.  Cutoff seems to be about 62 GB.  Anything over that and it does not import.  It will play but will not import into library.

Am I missing a setting, is this a limitation, or is no one else having this issue?

TIA

This is the code:
(nFileSize < (BYTES_IN_GIGABYTE * 60))) // 50GB is the maximum capacity of a dual layer disc

That's used to decide if the type is blu-ray.

Are you saying you have blu-rays that are larger?

UltraHD triple-layer Blu-rays can be up to 100GB now.

Next build we'll try this:
Changed: Blu-ray ISO files up to 120 GB are supported instead of only 60 GB.

These are ISO files ripped from 4K UHD discs, most are over 50 GB, some over 80.  Anything over about 62 GB does not import.

I have been trying for weeks to figure out why my UHD ISOs are not importing and it turns out simply to be the size!
This fix will be very welcome.

Yup, agreed.  Anxiously awaiting the next build with the fix.

Thanks Matt.
