Multiple Artists Category
« on: April 08, 2003, 10:31:04 am »

Here's one for you....

I have a ton of tracks that don't really belong on any album. I always flag their album as 'Jukebox'. In previous versions these files appeared under their respective artist categories but are now shunted to the Multiple Artists scheme. Is there any way I can prevent this. No one ever looks in the MA scheme and hence these songs are not getting the attention they need.

Modify the view scheme(s) to use "Artist" instead of "Album Artist (auto)"

Thanks Will.

Well that worked like a charm...

Now is there anyway to turn off the hairstyle completely? Everyone here in the living room agrees that the TV just going black is far more pleasing than the TV browser interface thing.

To clarify, we have a monitor AND a TV. People mucking about with MC are expected to sit at the computer so we never use the hairstyle thing. It's a cool enough feature though, just not necessary here.

Oh and this new 'ever-changing' right click menu is driving us batty. Especially when drunk. Any chance of being able to disable that (or even better -  custom design the right click menu?)

Drink in moderation -- and update your software.

custom design, custom menus, custom.....colors.

And you know, if you would drink more...you wouldn't even know what a right-click menu would be, let alone use  it (and seeing it)..hehe ;)

Well just keep the snittiness rolling I'll say this:

I upgraded Office and it didn't help and neither did upgrading my copy of explorer. I'll try photoshop later on.

Oh maybe I should upgrade MC eh? I'll wait for the 11th and see how that goes...
