Author Topic: Error: Play Doctor does not show Cloudplay tracks if Artist is in my library  (Read 467 times)

I feel like I have gone back in time.

Decided to get a new version to support the effort - and this one isn't fixed (I've posted this one on here a few years ago, and in-between didn't use MC much).

When I search with PlayDoctor for Cloudplay files from artists I don't have in my library, I have 0 errors, everything is fine.

If I search with PlayDoctor (Cloudplay files 100%) for an artist that I do have in my library, it hangs for a while then stops with the error that the track cannot be found.
What is happening is essentially: instead of playing something from the cloud, it tried first to play something from my own library. Since my various hard drives are disconnected, it cannot play them and stops working - however, this should not matter at all for a pure Cloud search!

Could this be fixed somehow? Reported?

  • Shoes gone again!

I pick "100% from Cloudplay" then search for Abba.  I have Abba in my library.

It plays all the files from the cloud.  None come from my library.

  • Where did I put my teeth?

We fixed a similar problem recently.  What is the full version?

There are at least two places you can start playback.  Right click > More Play Options and from the Playing Now search.

I've seen this problem before but not recently.
