I forgot how to rip
« on: December 13, 2023, 03:56:26 pm »

I haven't ripped a CD to my NAS in years. I kept this laptop with JRiver on it to be able to rip in the future. It uses an outboard drive for the ripping.
I have forgotten what the connection from laptop to NAS is.

I think:
My laptop has a USB connection I converted to Ethernet cable with an adapter.
I think I connected ethernet directly to the NAS. Not sure
The NAS is now connected to a network switch as I am using a different streamer and play music from Qubuz also.

I don't have an issue upgrading my version of JRiver if that is necessary. I saw that 30 was retired. Does that mean it won't work or just not supported?

Thanks for any help and direction.

MC30 isn't retired.  It will work.

Upgrade instructions are on the MC32 board.
