Accessing my JRiver files remotely
« on: October 26, 2023, 12:22:13 pm »

My music files are stored on NAS Drive connected to my home network.

I would like to access and play my music using Gizmo on my Android phone so I can listen to my music when driving.

How do I do that?

I have an Xfinity Modem for my home internet connection.

I assume I need to allow remote access? My home operating system is Windows 10.

That's covered on the wiki.  Just start with the Media Network topic.  Turn on Media Network and use the Access Key to connect Gizmo.

I am able to access and control my music using my phone while I'm connected to my home network.

How do I access my home network to play my music when I am traveling?
