Media no longer visible after upgrade
« on: August 16, 2024, 02:13:31 pm »

After upgrade JRM no longer shows my audio files. I suspect it's something to do with the files the upgrade was configured to read but cannot find how to reset these. Trying to upgrade again is refused because the system detects I already have a version running and tells me to complete that installation first.

JRM 32 still shows all my media files.

Anyone have any ideas why my media files are not visible and how I can configure JRM to display all my files?

Windows 11 Home
23H2
22631.4037
AMD Ryzen 5 7600 6-Core Processor 3.80 GHz
6.0 GB (15.2 GB usable)

JRM Version 33

Could be antivirus blocking.

Try installing the latest backup from the previous version.

Thanks for your reply.

That seemed to do the trick and my music files are all visible again.

I noticed that the recovered version listed the directory on which my media files are located - on another disc - but the initial upgrade showed only the Music folder in my personal profile.

Thanks for your help!
