Is DFX Spyware?

I recently purchaced DFX.
After a while, I then I installed a firewall
Then Im being notified that DFX is trying to access the
internet should I permit acess of deny access. The question is, why should I give access if I dont know what its sending to FXsound.com? I like to grant access if it told me what its sending to fxsound.com. I even contacted Fxsound to tell me if has spyware but, they refuse to answer that question. If anyone has any clue what it transmits please tell me.

My policy: If a program tries to access the net and the company does not provide a reasonable and confirmable explanation as to why, I block the program from net access. If the program does not function properly as a result of being blocked from net access, I uninstall the program and do nothing that might cause that company profit in the future.
